|
Two men have been charged with drugs offences after officers uncovered a cannabis grow in Great Yarmouth.
On Tuesday 29 September 2026 police pursued a car that had failed to stop near Gapton Hall Retail Park. The driver of the vehicle was caught, arrested, and taken to Great Yarmouth Police Station for questioning.
After further investigation, officers executed a warrant at an address on School Road Back, where around 100 cannabis plants were found growing in several rooms throughout the property. A second man was arrested at the address and taken into custody.
Both men appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (30th September) charged on suspicion of the following:
Emirjon Dahija, aged 36, of no fixed abode, was charged with: The production of cannabis Immigration offences Driving without a licence Driving with no insurance
Egli Hallidri, aged 26, of School Road Back, was charged with: The production of cannabis Immigration offences
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 28th October 2026.
